Hi fellow humans, as humans we generally like certainty. Things should be planable and predictable. Then life or reality sets in and we start to experience that things aren’t as plan- and controlable as we thought they would be. Of course we can look at patterns from past events and evaluate the likelihood of events and patterns repeating themselves, but often enough the past doesn’t repeat itself, at least not in the exact same way.
So where does this leave us?
When looking back we can learn from our past experiences and make the best decisions now, which we think will create the best possible future for us. The important thing here though is to embrace the unknown. Embracing uncertainty opens up some kind of creative space in ourselves which we can use to stay flexible and we might even be able to enjoy the unknown in the present moment. Reality is only happening in the moment, the past is a picture in our memory, the future has not yet come.
Fears about the future might arise, but we have a choice not to buy into them and get back to embracing this very moment. Freedom arises only in the present moment, but the good thing here is, that the present moment is
now
now
now.
I wish you all a great time, embracing the unknown, all the best Richard.
